Ontario Disability Support Claim Lawyers

The Ontario Disability Support Program (“ODSP”) is a provincially funded social service intended to provide financial support for persons with disabilities, and no other access to disability insurance type benefits.  Amongst other things, ODSP provides financial assistance for people with disabilities to help with essential living expenses and benefits to help with prescription drugs, and vision care.

Like most programs, there are eligibility criteria that must be met in order to be eligible for ODSP benefits.  To be eligible for ODSP you must be at least 18 years of age, an Ontario resident, be in financial need and you must be a person with a disability.  Frequently, Ontarians suffering from a disability and in need of ODSP assistance are denied their claim because ODSP has determined that they do not meet the definition of disabled.  The good news is, the denial of ODSP benefits can appealed!

However, for a person with a physical or psychological disability, the challenges of appealing the denial of ODSP benefits can be daunting!  The lawyers at Langevin Morris Smith LLP are well versed in the challenges of ODSP law and are ready and able to help assist you or a loved one fight the denial of your benefits and seek to achieve a result that is just and fair!

Contact us today to arrange for a free consultation to meet with our ontario disability support claim lawyers so that we can get working for you to get the best results possible.
